The Greatest War Man ever fought !

Forty days and Forty Nights ,he was fasting
     Preparing for the final battle of his life
 How strong was his will , to achieve that feat ?

He washed their hands and legs
   Told them the end is almost there
 How brave was his spirit to accept the challenge ?

Looking at the sky ,
    Standing on his kneels ,
  He prayed for strength.
They arrived with the betrayer
   to take him for the judgement.

Betrayed by a disciple ,
   disowned thrice by an other ,
 He just walked with them in silence
  How stone-hearted was he to take it ?

Accused of blasphemy ,
     None to support him ,
 He was sentenced to crucifixion .

Publicly scourged , receiving
   hundreds of leather thonged whips ;
 Cuts and Bruises everywhere ,
  Never before the world saw so much bloodshed.
 And there , all he did was,
   asking for forgiveness on their behalf .
 How generous was his character ?

Stripped naked , mocked and spat on .
    Crown of thorns on his head ,
 Carrying a heavy cross , for the amusement
   of people, he walked one last time.
 How much more humiliation can he take?

 Greatly weakened by the weight of the cross ,
     stumbling , he reached the place of crucifixion.
 Hands and feet were bound
     and Nailed to the cross.
 Water was offered and he
   rejected it as well.
 How much more passionate a person can be ?

From the cross , drained off completely
   he looked down into his mother's eyes.
 How saddened was he, knowing
   he won't see her again ?
 And he said looking at her and his disciple
 "Mother ,Behold your son "
   "Son , Behold Your mother" .
 How much more can his heart take ?

The world slowed down ,
  Darkness covered the land
He gave up his spirit.

Earth shook ,rocks split and tombs broke.

A man fought the Greatest War
     ever witnessed by the mankind
 And emerged Victorious.
